There are two distinct GOL versions available and living together: GOL Rev3 Full and GOL Rev4 Simple. Both are compatible, interchangeable and accept the very same login. It means that if you can login in one Rev then you can also login in the other. Database is the same for both versions, so data, downloads and tours information seem in one Rev can also been seen in the other, albeit some GOL Rev 3 Full sophisticated settings are not shown in Rev 4 Simple.

GOL Rev 3 Full gives you more functionality than Rev 4 Simple however it is more complicate to use.

You should use GOL Rev 3 Full only if you are in charge of hundreds or thousands of customers and accounts, and you run a large organization with branch offices. Specifically, we recommend GOL Rev 3 Full if:

• you are using GOL-Droid (smart phones)
• You take advantage of Guardus’ iWT (you want your security officer to be prompted when it if time to start a new tour, etc)
• You use Contronics Beacons for creating your own private GPS indoors or you use GPS standard coordinates as checkpoints.

We recommend GOL Rev 4 Simple if

• you are using Traxxer wands
• you are using GOL for your own organic security, as your company, organization, condominium. In other words, you do not sell security services.
